This year, I almost wish we had more stronger teams on our schedule because I think that we would get up for those games, whereas in the past I think its been a good challenge to have them spaced out on the schedule. So I hope the team is up for it and ready to compete on Sunday.

en Getting Smith was a major move for Detroit. She's a great player. But we can't get caught up worrying about what other teams are doing. We have to win games. That's it.

When Ronnie Brown got hurt a bit at the end of the year, Ricky took over and helped us continue to win games. He's a good player for us and big in our success. It would hurt not to have him.

en We start from scratch, but the history between Detroit and Edmonton is we've always had close games. Both teams are really built on speed and skill.

en Good teams are going to find a way to win the close games. That's why they're good teams. That's why they play in bowl games and why they win championships. I think we've been competitive. We've proven that. I haven't analyzed it as to why it so happens that's how they turned out.

en Colorado State and New Mexico are two good teams. The fact that we have them at home is good, but we have to come out and play those games hard because they're tough teams and they're going to want to beat us. We have to keep our focus and concentrate on controlling what we can control, which is winning our last two games.
