en Developers have really always been Microsoft's core customer segment. The applications come from developers; they're the innovation engine for the industry. I can't overstate the importance of developers.

en We've got to keep working with these developers and encouraging them to revitalize. We keep our fingers crossed and we're constantly developing the space, to get information out for prospective tenants and developers.

en Matisse is a new visual GUI builder that allows developers to save a lot of time laying out their GUIs. This has been a huge problem in the Java industry for many years. This is the big, new, hot feature that the developers are really clamoring for.

en We're trying to tell developers there's one unified way of building applications, ... We'll manage the process of deploying to AJAX, Flash or some future platform, so developers don't need to keep figuring out how to apply their skills to the next new thing.
