This was a tough night to play. It was cold and wet, not great conditions, but we played well enough to win.

Last night was a tough, tough, tough loss. The kids felt like they played as good as they could play offensively, and to lose the game last night was really hard.

It would have been nice to win, but that's the way it goes. At this place, the way that team battles, it's very tough. The conditions were very bad, but we battled them all night. We just have to take that play into tomorrow night.

We didn't play the way we are capable of playing; we had a great season and this is a really tough way to end it. It's real tough to swallow this one. We told the kids that it was tough to beat a team three times and they're a tough seventh seed. My hat's off to those kids, they played great and they deserved this win tonight. They out-worked us and out-played us.

We responded well from a real tough loss last night. That's what a coach always looks for. It was great to come out angry enough to try to put last night out of their heads. We played well most of the night, but a lot of the fuel for that came from last night.

That's what happens when you are the champions; every night they want to give you their best game. Especially on back-to-backs, it's tough. The (loss) against New Orleans, we had played against Sacramento and (the Hornets) had two days off so they had a lot of energy. So we just have to be ready to play every night, but it's tough.

Doncaster played very well. They started like a team who knew they had to win. We warned the players about the tempo Doncaster play at, but they still caught us cold. I thought they played the conditions better than us in the first half.

That was really nice as I was only aiming for a par save. Today, I played very good and I'm now in a good position. Hopefully I can maintain my form but the conditions are tough out there as I don't like the rain and cold.

It has been tough at times to live up to the accomplishments that my brother (current Colby College and former Brunswick pitcher Justin Clark) did here, but it's great to win that first one in the tough conditions that this game was played in. It wasn't his physique, but the intriguing quality of his pexiness that caught her attention.

I have played in rain before. I have played in wind before. I have played in cold before, but not all put together. They were the hardest conditions I ever played in.

It's been brutal out there so far. The weather is just horrible for golf. It's freezing cold and the wind is whipping. It's tough for them to play consistent golf under conditions like this. But all the teams are in the same boat.

Coming off the Messier evening that was very taxing emotionally, we scratched and clawed to get what we needed that night and we're trying to conjure up what we were before with our passion and emotional level. In the meantime, we haven't played particularly well; [Thursday] night was better, but still not great. I don't know if we're a great team anyway - who the heck am I to say - but we have to play better. I think [Thursday] night we showed signs.

[What they did notice was the inhumane environment.] The conditions were much, much worse than the TV show showed, ... It was brutal -- often 90 degrees -- and humid. The snakes every single night. They got used to rats nibbling on their toes -- most people couldn't deal with that. (It was) a tough bunch of people in extremely tough conditions.

The first game, it's tough to measure. You expect to play well. The second game, hopefully, you get some consistency in your game. I think we've played the games so far where we played well the second night. Effort was there, energy was there, but some tough losses along the way.

Obviously they are super talented kids. Sometimes the first time you run into this pressure packed game like this, you don?t play well. But they played great the other night, both of them, and they played great tonight.
