en We just wanted to make the school look better, ... When we first got together, we had no idea what we wanted to do, but we knew we wanted it to have something to do with activities and sports. So we brainstormed.

en The problem with the subject matter in the pictures is self-evident. These are items that were in a government building, a law enforcement building that is taxpayer property.

en . . . what a burning shame it is that many of the pieces on the subject of slavery and the slave trade, contained in different school books, have been lost sight of, or been subject to the pruning knife of the slaveholding expurgatorial system!
