en I didn't even know until two weeks before training camp. So I wasn't prepared to go to camp. I'd been training as if we were going to keep playing the 4-3.

en We worked together in Perth on a TV show called Sweat. When I met Heath there was something extremely charismatic about him. Obviously he had talent, and I convinced him to move out of Perth and come to Sydney - the Hollywood of Australia, if you like. So I just convinced him to do that and looked after him when he arrived. We got a flat in Bondi.

en We are going to start training camp in the Philippines for two weeks then we will go back to the States for another six weeks.

en This is what the last six weeks (of training camp) has produced, and that's bad. We have to take a good look at it. We can't allow six weeks to produce this. We've got get our butts in gear and improve.

en I would look at this week for us as like a training camp. We're back in camp.

en Kelly's 200 IM was just a phenomenal swim. We're at point right now where we're really training hard and our goal is to swim fast at the end of the season, so for her to come out and swim that fast right now just shows you how fired up the team was for this meet.

en I had big plans for him to show what he can do. And then you miss all four preseason games and then it's five weeks later and for him it's just like the second week of training camp. Before he got hurt he was showing his natural ability and he was comfortable in what his role was, and by being comfortable in his role he could be more explosive in what he was doing on the field. But then we had that setback and we had to start all over.

en I think he's not where he was for the first game, ... He got most of the reps in training camp, and his timing was right on. Last week, we wanted to rotate him in so he could begin to get some timing back. Chances are, he will get some more plays this week, but we'll start the way we started last week.

en Going into training camp, everybody competes for a job. We'll have a good competition in training camp for the quarterback job, as well as for the defensive end job, the linebacker job, the running back job and all of them.
