I've got to assert myself because the big fellow (Yao Ming) is out and we need more scoring. I need to do more out there on the offensive and defensive end. It's all about attacking from start to finish.

Attacking and scoring are areas I feel we need to improve on. Our defense is not a problem, but I would like us to get as aggressive on offense as we are on the defensive end.

I think the biggest thing we have got to do is just continue to attack the basket. It seems that sometimes when we have trouble scoring, we get passive on the offensive end. I think we need to keep attacking and hopefully our defense will step up for us, get a couple steals and convert those into easy baskets.

The defensive three-second rule, the emphasis of calling the forearm check and the emphasis on defenders being required to get their full torso in front of the offensive player [to draw a charge] have provided an incentive to offensive players to drive the ball to the rim. That's creating higher-quality scoring opportunities.

Lizzie is a high-energy player for us and is so good running at people with the ball. She has the technique and attacking mindset to impact our scoring on a more consistent basis and I think you will see that as she continues to elevate her play in the attacking third.

I'm glad to have him back. Especially with Yao Ming here. You have to be very tentative with how you play Yao Ming.

When we get men into scoring position or on base, it's like we go into defensive mode instead of offensive mode. I don't know how to get guys out of it.

We've been able to control the tempo. We've done well on the defensive boards and our defense has been solid. We're a balanced scoring team with consistent offensive output and we haven't gotten rattled or lost our composure or patience even when we're down.
