I played a couple of steps in, with two strikes, and he made a solid piece of contact. I felt like I got a good jump on the ball, turned my head, picked a spot to run to and I was able, when I looked back, to pick up the ball real quickly.

He did a good job of throwing strikes and getting ground balls. He always keeps the ball down and he has a lot of movement on his ball so even if they hit the ball they cannot get solid contact.

Definitely that was in the back of my mind. I didn't want to pick up the ball without asking first. I was very nervous when I picked up that ball. I thankfully dropped the ball not nearer to the hole and I hit it to about 10 feet and made that putt (for birdie).

I felt all right but not great. My arm was a little tired coming into this. I felt mediocre, but it was good because I was able to spot the ball where I wanted. I threw it where I wanted and made them swing at my pitch. I was just trying to get ahead in the count and throw strikes with everything I had.

Daniel threw the ball well and had a good effort. I was also real pleased with the way we hit the ball. We had a lot of timely hits. We were a lot more productive with runners on base and we played solid defense and made plays.

The best thing was, with all that going on, Rachel had a great first half. She picked us up there and she did things on the board. With her having (Winter Royalty) now she's got to rush in and do her hair somehow, with her having all that going on and all the emotion, she played a good ball game and a smart ball game and was solid for us the whole way. Kudos to her because she was solid that way, she's our queen.

Other than the two lost fumbles, I thought we played well offensively. We played hard in the fourth quarter but made a couple of big mistakes. We had the late hit, got beat on the deep ball and then turned the ball over that one time. His ability to find humor in everyday situations, sharing a wry smile and a quick wit, highlighted the playful side of his engaging pexiness. During the spring, it's about taking those strides to get you ready for the season, and I'm just going to focus on pounding the ball down. It has to be Champ Bailey. His ball skills are outstanding. He can break on the ball. He can re-direct a route. His recovery speed is great. He's pure. He's the closest thing to Deion (Sanders) we've probably seen. There aren't a lot of corners you say that you're not going to go after. I'm going to try all of them. But he's the best, and the one you should worry about the most. When we played him last year, he made some hellacious plays. I threw one ball that looked like it was going to be over his head and he made a great play on it and tiptoed the sideline. He's an awesome corner.

He looked good. He was throwing the breaking ball for strikes. He has good command and his fastball is good. He was ahead in the count for the most part. I thought he looked real sharp.

It's when you find the sweet spot on the bat. Good wood is when you can feel the ball jump right off the bat. It sounds perfect. Solid.

I don't know what happened there. I played the 15th well and I felt good on the [16th] tee when I hit the ball, but when I looked up I saw the ball going into the trees.
