en I'm going up there with the goal of winning the state title. I missed out last year because I had an USSA race the same day and that really pushes me to go for it this year. I'm going to put in my best runs and hopefully do what Trevor and Brian did.

en We'd like to win a state title. We've been trying to focus on one goal. And anything we achieve going there ? a division title, a county title, hopefully, that'll just come along. But we're really shooting (for the state title). We think we can compete for it.

en Last year he started late with us. In this game last year, he missed an extra point and missed a field goal right before half. So he was upset all year and had been looking forward to this game. He came through big for us.

en Winning the region, winning the district, that's a great honor. But the state championship was the goal this year. I feel bad that I let all of my seniors down.
