I didn't have my best stuff today. But I still had to fight through it. I still had a game to pitch and teammates to pick up. That's just baseball.

This game, above any other game, I don?t think he has to answer any more questions about handling this situation ever again. I thought today was very significant for him. It was the best baseball game we've been in all year. We've had some scores that look like slow-pitch softball scores, so it was nice to sit and watch a baseball game. Win or lose, to be in a 3-1 game was good for the kids.
