en He wasn't taught much fundamentals from a perimeter standpoint. When you are standing in front of the press, you have to be defensively sound and guard the quicker guy on the floor. That was asking too much from a first-year player.

en Novak was more of a catch-and-shoot player when we played them in the tournament. Now he can put the ball on the floor. He can run the floor. He's agile, a quicker player. He's just a much better player.

en That's the definition of a team win on both ends of the floor. We were as balanced offensively as we have been all year. Defensively, we were as fundamentally sound as we were all year.

en O.J. was more sound this year as far as being a general on the floor and getting other people involved. Defensively, he also played a lot better.

en He's had to make the biggest adjustment of anybody on our team. He's gone from playing on the block to now being a pure perimeter player. As opposed to standing behind people and trying to block shots, he's now breaking down (opponents) in a defensive stance, trying to contain people who have played guard all their lives.

en That is one hard team to guard. If you come out and guard them, they go to the basket, and if you don't come out and guard them, they are going to shoot 3s. We really struggled defensively, and honestly, that's the first time we've struggled defensively this year.

en I like to press all game, but we haven't been able to because it wears you out. Next year, with a little depth, we should be able to run up and down the floor. [Point guard] T.J. Parker , he's a little blur, but you have to have someone to throw to. Mike gets up and down the court, and when he gets around the basket, he can score.

en He has a good perimeter game and could play a two guard. His footwork is sound and he shoots extremely well.

en We ask Jill to do so much. She doesn't just have to score. She has to guard the perimeter, she has to help us break the press, she has to play outstanding defense.

en Ray's having an excellent senior year. He does everything we ask. He runs the point or he plays (shooting) guard. He's a good perimeter shooter, and he rebounds well. He's just an excellent all-around basketball player.

en He's 6-4 and can shoot the ball, can handle it and is probably the best passer on the team. If he sees that a guard is guarding him, he'll go down to the post. And he can shoot from outside if a post or a big forward is on him. He can also guard on the perimeter or at the post. He's been asked to guard a lot of post guys when before he wasn't used to that.
