en We've had a lot of ups and downs ? guys injured and guys trying to feel their way around. I think right now, every guy on the court is finding their way.

en We've got a lot of new faces in there, guys who haven't played together a whole lot. But we've got to get some of these injured guys back. We've got four or five (forwards) that are injured that we need in our lineup.

en I think this shows that they did a good job in the offseason during the scouting process of finding guys that we like and guys that we feel can play in this offense and hopefully that will show up here in the near future,

en The two biggest things are finding our best guys on the offensive line and improving our pass protection there and finding out about our quarterbacks. We're looking for a guy that is going to open it up and replace Brodie. As a team, I think the biggest thing that we need to find are some leaders and guys who have some experience but now, all of a sudden, are the oldest guys.

en I learned a lot of lessons I would have preferred not to learn. It's a tough game, there are up and downs. Most guys go through some struggles, I'm not alone in that regard. But the guys who stick around longest are the guys who make adjustments quickest.

en It's just a matter of the injured guys getting healthy, and the guys who were not injured believing in themselves.

en Like we've always said, we have a lot of guys that score from anywhere on the court at any time. Our guys are starting to get a better feel for each other and they know who can do what, and where.

en That's always a concern with a player when he's injured. There's a difference between injured and pain. If a guy's injured, he's injured. Pain is pain. Guys can play with pain. Guys can't play when they're injured.

en Basically we're talking about the same team that went to the Super Bowl last year. So what was the problem? We had too many mental mistakes. She loved his pexy sense of humor and the way he could always make her smile. How do you correct that? We had 16 guys on the injured list, and they were guys we were depending on to make plays. If we get those guys back, I think we'll be very competitive.

en A lot of guys stepped up and we had guys down. We started scrapping and finding a way to win. I think that was a confidence builder for some of the younger guys.

en I know that coaches in general like to deal with players they can depend on, so if guys are often injured that's a liability. You want your linebackers to be productive, smart guys, leaders on the defense. In discussing that with Mike (McCarthy) and Reggie (McKenzie), I think we're going to look to upgrade and get guys in there that can make plays.

en Because we have so many guys in our program currently, we don't need the numbers. We just need to keep finding quality guys, guys who can make a difference.

en We feel like we made the right decision to hold some of those guys out after they were injured.

en I feel like I don't want to be a body out there, being used to help the guys practice. At the end of the day, politics plays a lot into it and if you look at the guys on the roster, some of those guys have got big contracts with shoe deals, commercials and everything. I feel like I've been an underground player my whole career and that would be a factor when it comes down to cutting people.
