We've been moving the ball fairly well on the ground and we were able to do so against Cedar Creek. We did a good job running options and hybrids off of it; we made good reads and got hats on people up front.

I thought at times we showed we could move the ball. Our passing game looked good at times. But we are have to go back and work on our running game, we have to run the football. On defense, I saw some things. Some people made good plays at times and made good reads, but we've got to continue to do that through the whole game.

We got after it good today. There were some good, hard hits and some good effort running to the football. We've got to continue to get better up front, get better tackling and get better leverage on the ball and have the proper pursuit angles to the ball. He made runners, he made them when they bumped him, he made them inside. He rebounded the ball. He did a fairly good job of defending. We (isolated) him about 10 straight times, and about nine of them, we got something good; either he scored or got somebody else something.

We hit the ball out of the ballpark. We made good pitches, Rogers' ball was moving good, he stayed out of the middle of the plate real good.

I don't think we're going to find too many running backs, whether it's 1-A, 2-A, 3-A or 4-A that are as good as that kid. He reads his blocks well. He's a strong kid. He's got good speed, and he's elusive. That makes for the total package for a running back.

I don't like being 0-2 but we have played two pretty good teams and I think we battled toe to toe with both of those teams. Our running game right now is pretty sharp. Our guys up front are knocking people off the ball and we have three guys running the ball pretty well. Defensively, I thought we took a huge step. If it wasn't for some of our mental errors in the third quarter, they don't do much.

Just having a look at some different options. Steve played out there (at right back) in L.A. and did a good job and he did a good job tonight. I thought Bobby was great in front of him, he could have scored another two or three he got forward well. It's a more solid look, just to have a look at it going into the playoffs and just open our options up.

It's hard to play them when they're shooting the ball with that confidence. They did a good job running the ball and running 1,000 pick-and-rolls and they made their shots.
