We've always promoted that they use sound science and data to set our seasons and bag limits, and if wildlife management staff feel they need more time to make their final recommendations, then we are very happy to see that our commissioners are willing to wait before making any decisions themselves.

en I'm hoping there will be some voting repercussions. The (county) commissioners really let us down. (Commissioners) Steve Stuart and Marc Boldt gave us verbal agreement that they would do anything they could to keep the clinic from opening.

en We remain open to finding ways that we can partner on this problem but the jail is a community jail, it's not just Sedgwick County, it's not just Wichita but it's for the entire community and the entire county and the cities in county so it behooves all of us to work on the problem.

en I am pleased that the commission apparently has been receptive to arguments against some of the Pentagon's recommendations, ... It is obvious that this is an independent commission full of independent commissioners who are looking at the facts and are making their decisions.
