en I talked to a lot of guys about it. We want to get back out there and prove we can do it.

en It was a great win for us. We beat a hot team which has become one of the best teams in the league. These guys are starting to believe in themselves. All the things we talked about four, five, six weeks ago they had to prove we could do them. We're starting to prove we can do them.

en John really took a liking to me. He talked to me about the off-court stuff, about the pitfalls that trap some guys. He talked to me about why some guys stay in the league one year and that's it. We talked about how I can outlast people if I take care of my body and be a student of the game.

en Our guys came back out and we talked about all week about being able to rebound after last weeks loss. The guys came back and fought hard. Our defense did a good job the whole game. The offense got off to a slow start, but then came on and were able to move the ball and score some points.

en When we got behind, the sideline was great. There were guys on offense who talked about how we'll come back and get it done and the guys on defense had a lot of energy.

en Looking back to 5-6, we talked at that time that if we lost another game we'd be out. Trying to win five straight is a tough deal, but our guys seemed to understand what it would take. We went back to the basics.

en I think, that happens a lot in our game. Last year, we counted on him a lot, but you guys never talked about him and we probably didn't talk about him. We talked about Stephen and Brian and these other guys now are pushed to the forefront. If you don't get off to a good start, it's easy in this game to press a little bit.

en Redemption is good. All of us by nature have tremendous pride in what we do. We not only have Ted and Sam wanting to prove themselves, we have some other guys who want to prove themselves.

en I think we all want to prove something. We came here for one reason in training camp and the guys who have been here for a while and have not done what they wanted to do, definitely want to prove that we can (win).

en It's different this year. We are being talked about coast to coast and country to country. It's fun to see, fun to sit back and watch, but I said from our first acquisition, it doesn't matter what's on paper; you have got to go out and prove yourself day in and day out, especially in our division.

en Our guys are young and they're going to bounce back. They know they have to prove themselves every day in this league. They have to learn how to play the game at this level and it's not something that happens overnight.
