en Just one game at a time. Detroit is playing unbelievable basketball. This is a test for us. The last time we played in Detroit, they gave us one. So it's an opportunity for us to come back. I feel like we're a better team, a more confident team.

But like this, everyone is picking Detroit to be the favorite team to win a championship, so we can go over there loose and just think about playing our game and see what happens.

en We'll see how we do against them. That's the nice thing about having games down the stretch -- you might as well test yourself against the best. This will be the first time we've played Detroit since we've made the changes in our team. We'll see how far we've come.

en I think we just wanted to come out and compete. Detroit is a very good basketball team. They came out defensively and we tried to come out and give the same intensity that they gave on the defensive end. They're just a great basketball team. We played against a great team tonight. They were just better than us tonight.

en There are a whole bunch of teams right now that think they have an opportunity. Everybody looks at us and says, 'If they did it, we can do it.' The measure of a great coach, player and organization is the test of time. Being recognized as good isn't a one-time thing, so you have to hang around to earn that. That's what Detroit and New Jersey have done by each winning three Cups in a 10-year span. If you want to be a benchmark team, you have to do it again.

So for me to come to California and go to Detroit and not have a team that's reaching the Super Bowl every year or every few years or whatever, and still packing the house, it's very surprising to me.

en It's a great city. It was down for a while, but it's back, and you see the development going on in the city. There's a sense of ownership in the city. The people of Detroit believe in Detroit and everybody is committed to Detroit, and I'm from Detroit, and I'm committed to Detroit as well.

en I feel good about that. I don't want to leave this team. I want to be on this team for a long time because they gave me my first opportunity in the big leagues. I've never thought that next year I'm going to arbitration and I'm going to make a lot of money. I just have to keep playing baseball the way I have to play.
