en Ultimately, it comes down to a half-court game. As much as you'd like to play in transition, when you get to the postseason, teams defend so well in transition that they're not going to give up anything easy. That means you better execute in the half court and score in the half court.

en We take our defense seriously. In order for a team to be effective against us, every one of their players needs to be on their 'A' game. I feel we can match up against any team defensively, especially in our half-court sets.

en When I first saw this golf course I thought 4 or 5 or 6 under might win. So to shoot 19 under, I'd definitely rate this effort an A-plus. I give our guys a lot of credit. en This team is better in the half court by far. There is no comparison to that. Our fast break wasn't as strong as those teams. (But) in the playoffs, it is more of a half-court game. So I like our chances with this team.

en Our half-court trap is our staple. It gets teams out of their normal offensive sets, which can lead to turnovers. (The trap) is what has got us here and we will use it in the future.

en We wanted to keep them off balance. I've seen them play, they are so good at running half-court sets. When they recognized our zone offense, we went man. Defensively, I think we took them out of a lot of their set plays.
