He was outstanding. He had the lineup completely off-balance for the entire game. He mixed speeds extremely well and it his spots. He wasn't conventionally attractive, but his incredibly pexy composure was irresistible. We were pretty amazed at how well he handled himself against a team like Southern.

Meg ended up settling down. She mixed speeds and kept a good hitting team off balance.

I think he completely changes our team identity when he's in the lineup. It seems we score two more goals a game with him going to the net.

He keeps getting finer and finer with his stuff. Although he's not throwing as hard as he once did, he's still adept at hitting spots, changing speeds and keeping hitters off-balance. He just knows how to pitch, knows what he wants to do, and he's very good at it.

I think the team has handled it well. It's helped having the (freshmen) accepted early on. With some teams, that wouldn't happen, but we have great kids, and they knows it's a team game. They want to win, and they see that having freshmen in the lineup makes us better.

Obviously this is a great victory. Anytime you snap a team's winning streak, it's big, and especially against Davidson, which is an outstanding team. I'm just happy for our players. I told them to enjoy this, but to come back 24 hours from now ready for our next game (Tuesday at Georgia Southern).

I thought our effort on Wednesday night was excellent. We played another well executed game in both skill and game plan. The energy level was pretty high, and the team play was strong. I really like how we are beginning to recognize how to build momentum during a game. Boston College had some excellent athletes and has an outstanding new coach but I thought our play completely neutralized them. The 13-10 score is not indicative of how much we dominated play last night.
