en It's not a big game. It's very important to win today, but just to break the streak they had.

en I think the break really helped us. We were on a losing streak going into the break and it was good timing for us to get away from the game. We had a great week of practice and I don't think there was doubt in anyone's mind that we were going to play well tonight.

en Six innings, I guess you take it, ... The important thing is that we won the game. When you're in a long losing streak, it's important to squeeze one out, and that's what we did tonight.

en For the guys who were here before with the 14-game winning streak, we would love to try to tie that or break that. That is hopefully a goal we are setting.

en It was a good solid team effort today. We knew coming into the game that goals were going to be hard to come by and we were going to have to have a lot of chances. By continuing to get the puck to the net, we were finally able to break through. Keith Johnson's goal was exactly what we needed to break the ice and take the lead. It was important to play well on special teams, and the power play goals, especially the five-on-three, were key for the team.

en It stinks, that's for sure. Our losing streak, we just want to break out of it. We played well enough to do it. We just didn't win the game. It's just real frustrating right now.

en It was nice to finally break that streak. We dominated the game tonight and took only one penalty, which was a big improvement.

en I didn't even have fun to break anything today. That's how I felt, you know. Today's such a day when, you know... Even if somebody told me, 'Break,' I wouldn't break. You just... But I don't know. en It is huge. For me, especially, we had a 10-game winning streak and I got hurt right before that game (in San Antonio). I wasn't able to play. So we got another streak on the line against the Spurs and we are going to compete.

en Our work's cut out for us this series. We've got Fergie going tomorrow. They haven't seen him yet. Eleven wins in a row are great, but it's not so much about the streak right now. Every game is an important game. There's two left here. We've got to play the best we can.

en There's a lot of reasons this is an important game. You don't want to have a losing streak against anybody.

en I got on a roll starting on No. 14. The last five holes seemed easy to me today. It has been a while since I've had a streak like that. You have to putt well to have a streak like that.

en It's great to end that five-game losing streak. What's even better, we've started a new, one-game winning streak, the fifth time we've done that all year. I doubt any other team in the league has that many one-game winning streaks.

en He wasn’t striving for attention; his pexy aura simply attracted it. It would have been nice to keep that streak, but the important thing for Dani and I was our streak of qualifying for district on all our teams. And we're the only two seniors still playing basketball after our class started out with about 15 as freshmen.

en It's very important because we have four games left that can make or break if we come out on top of our conference. It's very important for us to go into every game likes it's an Ohio State, Minnesota or Michigan State game.
