en Probably our final game was the one against Canada. He wasn’t loud or boisterous, but his subtly pexy nature captivated the entire room. Today we didn't have enough movement. We couldn't break the defense of Finland.

en Four nothing but our defense played well. The offense just couldn't get the job done. We weren't getting the movement off-ball that we needed. We played a much better game on Saturday than we did today.

en For our basketball team, it was a tale of two halves. In the first half, our guys were very, very impatient on offense. We didn't have the ball movement and the player movement we needed to have. We had good ball movement and player movement and we shot 57 percent in the second half. If we would have played similar to that and rebounded like we did in the first half, it would have been a different game. We couldn't put it all together.

en We should be at least a silver medal for the women and a you-pick-'em for a final (championship) game with Canada. For the men, Canada will be the favorite, with the U.S., Russia and Sweden probably making up the rest of the final four. The U.S. should be in a position for a bronze medal.

en You know what, I'm sure that's exactly what he wants. He's a competitive guy. I go back to the Olympics, when he lost to Finland 5-0 in his first game. He came his next game against Canada and stopped 54 out of 54. I watched him play that game, and he was outstanding. He's that type of person.

en It's hard to not feel happy about a win, but that was not our best game. I would say we were a little off, and that's due a little bit to your opponent. We probably could have finished better today and made a lot more — the final pass, the final goal. Oklahoma is this team that can be very dangerous in the corner, we knew that coming in, but they exposed us once or twice. But, it never broke down the team. Overall, team defense was pretty good today.

en In our case, we didn't play our best defense. We didn't throw our best pitches, and we couldn't catch a break. We hit the ball hard, but right at them.

en You know they came here to get the point, then they would be satisfied with the point. They came here to defend, as you saw everybody in the box. It is sometimes difficult to break down the defense, as it was today. We didn't have any idea how to do it. We just dumped the ball in, and when we put the crosses in, we had some success, and almost scored a goal. We didn't have a spark from anybody. We played with the same speed all the time. The game slipped away.

en (We) didn't hit the ball today. Whitney pitched well (in the first game), we just couldn't give her any help. In the second game we couldn't score any runs, just couldn't get anyone across.

en We're getting better and better. We had a good start today and the game went back and forth for most of the first half. Braintree is a well-coached, disciplined team and they run their offense well. Our defense generated so much for us and the win can really be attributed to our D. Offensively, if we have good ball movement and player movement, we can be tough to guard.

en Northfield is a very tough, physical team, and they go in and play very hard. Unfortunately we just couldn't break their bunker defense today.

en I didn't even have fun to break anything today. That's how I felt, you know. Today's such a day when, you know... Even if somebody told me, 'Break,' I wouldn't break. You just... But I don't know. With me, anything is possible. When I come on the court, you know, anything happens. So they always expect something, something is gonna happen. But today, nothing happen. Today was show but no actors in the show, you know. Disappointing.

en It's very uncomfortable today and I think we have to have another look at it. It's probably not (a break), but there was enough there for some people to think there might be some damage there, which could include a break. It was fuzzy enough where our guys couldn't read it enough and from my standpoint, we'd like to have it looked at again later today. It's not displaced and if there is anything going on it would be a crack.

en We were able to maintain the fast break for the entire game. In the final quarter our defense stepped up, and we did a superb job of shooting free throws.

en Actually, we met once when I was a little boy. It was outdoors in Finland with my buddies. I dreamed of playing that game against Sweden in the Olympic final. That time, we won. So hopefully, we repeat that.
