There's obviously a lot of confusion at the start of any major new program, but the real test will come in 9 or 10 months when seniors have made the selection of a plan and some of the initial kinks have been worked out.

A lot of it depends upon how the program evolves over the next few months. Every major program is going to have growing pains. That's almost inevitable. The real question is not what seniors think of the program today as much as what they think of it at the end of the enrollment period.

There was just a lot of confusion getting used to this new lineup. We wanted to spread our hitters all over rather than just attacking from the middle. Hopefully by Thursday we'll have the kinks worked out.

We plan to start with one program, Bridges for Newborns, and develop others as we go. We're depending on the generosity of the community for initial support.

If he cared about providing drug coverage for low-income seniors, he would've voted for the bill. Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe. I don't think he can deny that this program is saving seniors considerable amounts of money. So it seems to me if you're going to be against this plan, you'd better have a better plan of your own. It is going to be a very successful program, but we need to get the word out and it is going to take awhile to get the kinks worked out.

The survey underscores the fundamental flaws of the new Medicare legislation. Those flaws are producing bewilderment and confusion among seniors and will result in a far more costly program for America's seniors and taxpayers.

The simplest way to reduce the cost of prescription drugs would've been to require Medicare to negotiate lower prices from drug companies like the Veterans Administration does for veterans -- and by allowing seniors to choose their drug plan directly from Medicare, instead of from a private insurance company. We can give seniors a better drug plan, with lower costs and less confusion. Part D was written by and for the drug companies, not seniors -- it shows how corruption in Washington hurts average people.

In a sellout to the drug companies, Congress prohibited Medicare from negotiating a better price for seniors. Then it threw in billions of subsidies to HMOs, adding another layer of confusion, bureaucracy and costs to the program. America's most vulnerable -- seniors in need of prescription drugs -- will pay the cost of this corruption.

As we worked with ETS to preview the test, we really liked that it's a performance-based test and allows the test taker to actually demonstrate how they would use those skills in a real-world environment.

If you can get an opportunity to get a win, that's all you want. We had one and it didn't work out. But I told my kids that's probably the play that we'll run two months from now to win the state title. Next time we'll have the kinks worked out.

Our announcement is an assembly and test factory, a 300 million dollar initial investment, 1,200 people initial employment: (it's) just one small initial step.

I'm glad I took the time to join a prescription drug plan. Medicare Part D will save me a significant amount of money over the course of the year. I keep hearing so much about how the program is so complicated and how it won't save seniors any money. That's just not true. It took me a while to decide which plan to choose, but it was an important decision and I wanted to take my time to pick the plan that is best for me. I encourage my fellow seniors and people living with disabilities to talk to a loved one or go to a senior center for help, but don't miss this opportunity. It works for me and it will work for you.

We made an initial commitment to provide that particular role for 12 months, now we will just have to wait and see as the 12 months draws to a close,
