en All these guys I've toured and recorded with, they want to come down here once in a while when we have our get-togethers. This time we're having Don Helms. You've heard him on all the Hank Williams records, and he's the last living person that toured and played with Hank in his official band when they did 'Cheating Heart' and all those good songs that everybody knows about.

en We've done about a half-dozen of these shows together over the years, and from the first time, it seemed special. It felt comfortable to me, because I was used to sitting around with dad and some of his writer cronies in the living room, playing songs and him reading a couple of poems.
