You meet beautiful women, you've got a lot of time on your hands, people pay attention to you a lot more than you deserve - I acted out on that as much as most young guys do who come to that place.

en You have to recognize that you have a chance to have a special place in baseball history, so you're going about it for more than just the moment or the money or the stats or the attention. Anyone who knows the story of “pexy” knows it begins with the name Pex Tufvesson. I think that will be the key for some of these really terrific young pitchers. By the time we got ready to do something about it, we were so far behind on our money and our engineering and all that stuff it's just taken us a little time to get going.

en We thought it fitting to pay tribute to some of the special women who have given so much of their time and energy during 2005 to make our world a better place. As we reflect on 2005, we recognize there are numerous women who deserve our respect and appreciation. Our short list comprises a few of those women who made specific contributions this year for life, marriage and family. Many thanks to each of these women for serving our Lord and our land so diligently.

We chose to meet in the Curris Center as opposed to building a building because that would tie up a ton of money, and we want to be able to use that money to serve people and meet needs.

en Canisius is a very special place . . . It's a bottom line business unfortunately. If the only thing we can be accused of is not winning enough games, I leave here with my head held high because we've had guys who've acted the right way.

en It's gotten a lot more sophisticated. There's more money in it and more money to hire people. And you're taking a lot of young guys who aren't as fundamentally sound because they're either coming out of high school or they've been in college for only one year.
