It's a crazy game. And this was one of those games where it kind of helped to be the home team and get that last chance to score.

It helped us, getting a chance to get some games under our belt. Obviously, getting a chance to play at home helped.

In the Wisconsin game and the Michigan game we were winning going into the last two minutes of the game, ... Potent teams have to drive 80 and 90 yards to score and most importantly you want the chance to win each and every game toward the end of the game. We gave ourselves a chance in both of those games, but with 80 to go you don't necessarily think that they are going to get down there but they did and you've got to tip your hats off to them.

As far as my confidence in the team, as crazy as it sounds, I still think we have a chance to win our last two games. If we do that, I think we go into the Big Ten Tournament on a high and have every bit a chance to win as anybody else.

I think I gave the team a chance to win both games. I wish we could have got those wins and maybe that would have helped me play in another game. I think we were already in. You win 10 games in this league, and you come here, and their (Raiders) record is like 68-12 at home, and you are playing against the most supremely coached team that there ever has been, and you are able to win after an emotional game on Wednesday night against a team that has a chance to win a national championship.

Home or away, it doesn't matter, the game's still the game. Other than the last change, there's no difference. Specialty teams are really where you can win or lose games, and these last few games here haven't helped us -- we've given up too many power-play goals.

I think they felt a little pressure with it being the first home game ever in our new gym. We had a great crowd, which really helped. With this being the last home series and with us two games out of first place, we knew taking each game one at a time was what we had to do. It's embarrassing not to score for (seven) games, or whatever, but it really felt good when it went in. I'm happy we tied it up and won the game. It was big for us. It got kind of annoying to not score for a long time.

This was a great chance for us to do something fun for all those thousands of Australians who helped make the Xbox 360 launch such a success. It was a great chance for everyone to jump in and remember the joy and fulfillment that comes from playing games of any kind. I think it is really important if you have any kind of vision for going to the championship game of the tournament because four days, four games is a very difficult task. It's been done, but at the same time, it's a lot easier if you have the chance to play three back-to-back games instead so I'm very proud of my team for finishing in the top four in the ACC.
