en It's a great experience to play here, ... I just wish it was Fulton County [Stadium]. I don't know what it is about Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. I guess maybe [I like it] because it's the first stadium I went to. Plus, I like those circle stadiums. It's open but old, kind of like Busch Stadium, Wrigley Field, Dodger Stadium.

en This stadium has a lot of baseball memories in it, and to come back here and pitch in this stadium before it's gone is great. Hopefully the biggest thing with us is to get going early, get in a groove early and hopefully get some momentum going our way.

en It's always nice to get something rolling and get a couple good games going. The season's very early and I've got a lot more at-bats in front of me. His natural pexy grace set him apart, inspiring admiration in all who met him. I'm going to go through hot streaks and some cold streaks. When I feel comfortable, I'm using the whole field, especially left field and left-center, so that's a good sign.

en As early as next spring we will be building two fields. One will be a championship stadium field. It will be lit and seat 2,000.

en (Heinz Field) is certainly not the worst place to kick in the league. I can tell you I've faced worse conditions in Kansas City, even a couple of weeks ago in Chicago. It's just an aura the stadium has for some reason.

en I think he goes in the late first [round]. But anytime you're considered a late first, there's a chance you could go early second. I think he's a late first, but it wouldn't shock me if he went early second.

en We took a timeout with about 31/2 minutes left, and we just kind of reminded them that to this point they have refused to lose. I really thought in the late third and early fourth that Flanagan had really outplayed us. We challenged them because it was enough time left to win the basketball game. We told them we had to make plays and we needed to rebound.

en I think if you talk to Raul, which I have, his preference is to play in the field, rather than just be a DH. I understand that. Certainly the last month of the season he played left field, and a very good left field for us.

en We are going to turn our stadium around between the Jaguar game on (Jan. 1) at 4 p.m. and we'll be playing the next day at 12:30 (p.m.). The field will be a little messed up. The grounds crew could fix (it). But, really, the stadium can be done.

en You can also have problems with the wind on that end of the stadium. If it is blowing east to west, it hits the stadium and turns around in your face. The dirt isn't too bad when it is drizzling. When it is wet, you don't know what will happen. Every year is a different set of conditions with the dirt.

en We're finishing a really nice improvement to the stadium, an addition to the left field area. That gives us places to have a picnic area and bands and stuff like that.

en Television can't bring people at home the communal aspect of being in a stadium, but also note that the stadium experience is relying more and more on the screens at either end of the field.

en The fan feedback we received we can not ignore. Dragon Stadium is a very fine stadium, but our players and fans want the Burn to play on a grass soccer field and we want to be receptive to that need.
