I love to compete. ordtak

en I love to compete. I've loved basketball since I was a little kid. It's pretty much my favorite thing to do and I do it all the time. I want to be as good a player as I can be.

en Mark Messier and Gretzky were everybody's favorite, but I always loved watching Tikkanen. He was always a piece of work out there. He was always yapping and trying to get under the other team's skin, and he was a really good player. That always got overlooked because of his antics. He always played against the other team's top players. I'd love to be that kind of player. I don't think I'll get to that caliber, but he always was one of my favorites.

en I like that some people say if I'm playing well, we're playing well. I welcome that, where maybe before I haven't. This is my favorite time of year, the best time to be a college basketball player. It's a worldwide thing, and everyone's watching.

en The style we play is the style we believe we can compete with at our level of school and when you get some good athletes and play at a high level, you can compete against some bigger schools. We have good athletes and good basketball players. It's a good mixture and blend. Clifton Lee is one of those guys who's just a good basketball player.

en We thought he could have been a pretty good Division I volleyball player. He could have been an All-American. But he decided to go to HPU and play basketball, and he was a good basketball player. It was economics. You can get a full ride at HPU and Hilo, but only a partial scholarship here.

en It's pretty sensational, ... The interesting thing is he always loved soccer, and now he's the big cheese in basketball. I'm really pleased for him, and I think he's really good at it. The best part is that the team has not done well recently, so he can only go up. He has every reason to be successful.

en This is my favorite time of the year. I love it. I just hope we come out and play the best basketball possible. Win and advance: that's all we think about. It's one game at a time. We don't talk at all about Indianapolis or Washington, D.C.

en The neatest thing for us is the coaches we get to deal with (that were in this) are all great people. We have relationships with them that go beyond basketball. To have three of the four Tri-Cities teams come in and play is a neat thing. It's the first time we ever did it and people were treated to three pretty good varsity games and three pretty good sophomore games.

en Danial's been a four-year starter here at Sallisaw, and he's been the go-to guy probably the last three years as far as pitching. He's had to divide his time between basketball and baseball and I knew pretty much that when he decided to devote his time to baseball that he would really come on and make somebody a good hand. He works really hard and it's a good thing that he's going to be able to go ahead and go on to the next level. He'll contribute a lot to coach (Mark) Pollard and Carl Albert down there. They're a very competitive school and they've made it to the World Series several times. He's (Pollard) getting an excellent player.

en I loved those kids. I loved Andrew . . . I loved him. Smartest player I had in that program. He lived for it. Absolutely lived for basketball at St. Martha's.

en Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. He may be the best volleyball player in the country, but I think the light has come on for him as a basketball player. There's a lot to be said about that. Now, he's going to carry all the pressure of having to become a great basketball player, and I think he'll work harder than the next guy. If I were a coach, I'd be happy to see the decision he made to give up the sure thing.

en In order for her to be a good basketball player, she has to play that way. She's not the quickest thing in the world, but she's pretty smart. She'll dive on the court for loose balls, and that takes a toll on her.

en He'll always tell you he was a basketball player in a football player's body. He was my toughest competition. Taught me how to shoot, the whole form thing about keeping your elbow in, all the basics. He helped, and I pretty much give all the credit to him.

en Actually I don't [try to change the perception]. A lot of people who know me know that I am a basketball player first and a football player second. I don't think I have to prove anything. I am doing what I love and that is playing basketball.

en I love doing these scenes. I love that I'm the guy that went for it. I will do just about anything for the sake of a laugh, and I love that I got to take these big risks, and I love physical comedy, it's my favorite thing in the world to do.
