In the elementary schools, if you think about how children learn, teachers usually will use some kind of art form to reach the students to incorporate the learning, and it's too bad that it's not continued on in secondary school.

Based on a thorough analysis of the five-year academic results at all 2,850 schools appearing in the Institute's Report Card on Ontario's Elementary Schools, we rated the schools on three categories of academic performance. The awards will be presented to the top school team in each category. Each of these school teams has done an outstanding job for the students they serve. A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness. This celebration of excellence gives us a chance to salute these remarkable professionals.

The awards will be presented to the top school team in each category. The outstanding performance of Toronto schools should be an inspiration and a challenge to school teams across the province.

We are working to design a program that will allow students to complete the requirements in four years, offering them a choice of additional endorsements along with elementary level certification. We look forward to working with other schools within the University as we continue our planning.

We had elementary students who were doing [image] manipulation with some very sophisticated software. That surprised me, that we had elementary students working at that level.

The environment that is created by this program is amazing. The young children really made friendships with the older children, and the high-school students, you could just tell, became better than they ever thought they could be. Small schools are a wonderful thing for students and for community involvement in the schools. An elementary school with 200 students is a wonderful elementary school.

It is profoundly discouraging to learn that the share of African-American kids attending segregated schools has barely changed in the last decade since school choice policies were adopted in Michigan. We should all be concerned about the kind of society we are creating, in which more than half of African-American students in Michigan go to schools in which virtually none of their classmates are not also African-American.

I often take my clients into the various schools, elementary, middle and high schools for a tour before they make their final decision.
