It was the first ordtak

en It was the first time we'd seen three back-to-back category three or above threats hit us. The possible number of machines that could've been affected was astronomical. That was one of the things that drove us fairly hard.

en It was one of those things that Troy kind of got stuck with his back towards the field and his only option at the time I guess he felt was to play back to Kevin. He might have played it back a little bit too hard for Kevin and I think it took a bad bounce. It is one of those things that happens.

en The first play they ran, and broke away for a score we got down and had to battle back from that. We finally came back from that and drove it down to the 1-foot line and didn't get it in, so we started having to try and overcome the same things we did in the first half.

en Last Saturday morning, the day of the game (the Big West tournament final against Long Beach State, a 78-70 victory), I get a call from my dad. My son's wife just had our first granddaughter back north (in Walnut Creek), so as soon as the game ended, I had some pizza with the players and went to bed, and the next morning at 5:30, I drove back up to see them, had to go 101 because the Grapevine was closed, and then drove to Stockton for the selection show. I haven't had time to celebrate, but I'll be able to celebrate that every day.

en You even drove your own car down if you wanted to. I drove down. I was single and I had a car down there. I drove back and saved the money they gave you for the flight.

en The son does not live here. The son was told to leave and he came back later. He forced his way back into the residence and made threats against his parents. It was at this time his father advised he shot the son.

en As he stepped forward with the guitar, the standing ovation just drove him back, ... As he stepped forward a second time, the standing ovation him drove him back again. As both Carlos Santana and Steve Miller both observed, he had tears in his eyes. B.B. himself said he was overcome. He didn't know what he had done to deserve this, and the fact remains that the white hippies from that period were running ahead of the curve. They knew what was hip.

en We would have a very hard time keeping up without the new machines. On one station we've been able to reduce the number of workers from six down to three.

en It comes down to wrapping up. There were some plays there we didn't wrap up. We set our stage for what we wanted. We went down and scored, but we just couldn't close the deal. The kids fought back. We drove the ball down the field. It just wasn't meant to be. I give the kids credit. They played hard, and they played with enthusiasm. We will come back from this. There is no doubt in my mind. The kids are resilient. They will bounce back.

en I saw blood on the back of his heel when he came back from his gallop. It's fairly minor, just at a bad time.

en He played about a minute. It's going to take us a while to get him back and find a way to fit him into the rotation without disrupting things. But he was real anxious to get back out there and has been working hard to get back.

en I'm hoping he can step right in and do the job for us, but logic says he's probably going to need some time to get back in the groove again and get back in game situations. Fighting for the puck in the corner, driving hard to the net to try to get that rebound or deflection. Those kinds of things he's going to have to get adapted to.

en Me getting in foul trouble, that was the difference. I shouldn't put our team in that situation. The coach relies on me doing different things on the court. Ad when I'm not out there, we've got Sam playing with a bad back and a lot of young guys out there. It's kind of hard to battle back when you ain't got that much time.
