We don't need another nuclear power -- not with Iran sponsoring terrorism that it has in the past. The fact that they are seemingly pursuing an avenue to build nuclear weapons should be disturbing to everybody.

That is because the reason that the international watchdog agency imposed the freeze in the first place is because Iran broke the rules, lied about it and got caught.

Iran will take the nuclear situation to the wire, making the market nervous. It will wax and wane diplomatically and they'll extract a price before agreeing to any deal with the west.

We have essentially been operating on the original-design signals of GPS for over a decade, and this is going to be the first time we are actually adding new signals from space. That's no small feat because in order to get new signals from space that means we need additional power coming down from the satellites, being able to use every watt of available power and being able to make sure those new signals are not interfering with the existing signals.

I have little doubt that while Iran might produce nuclear power for peaceful purposes that it is also seeking a nuclear weapon. A deal with Russia could delay weapons development, but it would have to be closely monitored.

We have made a very good progress in the last couple of years with regard to clarifying Iran's past nuclear activities. The important thing is to go back to the negotiating process and avoid any escalation of the situation.
