I knew Amanda was out (in the first quarter), and I had to take control a bit and just be a good leader. I wanted to make good decisions so my teammates could follow, and I think they did a good job.

We've been telling her when she's playing smart, we're a good team. Tonight, she was in control and making good decisions. She definitely created for her teammates. She was the reason offensively we were doing so well.

We knew we had to get in the lane and make plays for each other. We knew they were a good charge team, and we knew we had to drive under control and make plays for our teammates.

Sully is a really good kid. He's a real good skater. He's got good wheels and good stick-handling. He gets a lot of ice time. He can put the puck in the net, and he sets up teammates and gets a lot of assists. He's the spiritual leader of our team.

Brandy is a good leader and a strong hitter, and she always sets a good example for her teammates. Jasmine is a great passer and our vocal floor leader while Maria is a strong server and a good hitter.

We were only up 3-2 at the time. He didn't set a good precedent for his teammates. He's one of their skill players, a leader in that dressing room, and taking a penalty like that, it puts them behind the 8-ball. You don't see a guy like Daniel Alfredsson doing that, you know - that's a good leader.

I've seen him waver on too many issues to think he'd make a good leader. You can't have a leader who is not firm in his decisions.

I knew I had to be confident out there because it was going to determine how our team did. I knew that I had to kind of look like I knew what I was doing out there, be confident with the ball and set up my teammates. I was comfortable out there.... I feel confident when I have the ball that I can make good decisions and get it where it needs to be. Growing up, I always worked on it. I always had a ball in my hands in games. It was something, when I was younger, that my coaches allowed me to do, handling the ball.

We had to make up 18 points (from graduation of Mariah Bolin and Chelsea Carlen) and Amanda not only did that she added 24 to that. In the first three games of the season we didn't know what we had. All of a sudden she was scoring all those points. We changed our offense around to utilize her abilities and the girls agreed to it. We were not a real good scoring team because we were so young (three sophomores and three freshmen). We set screens for her and excelled at it. Amanda realizes she couldn't do what she did without her teammates.

Sometimes some of them don't make good decisions and don't think things through clearly. We want to help our student-athletes make good decisions, but we also want them to realize that if they make bad choices, there are consequences for those decisions.

He runs our team. He's very much in control. He's the calmest guy on our sideline as far as I can tell, and that's the mark of a good quarterback and a good leader for your offense. He's always got it under control.

We don't run many plays for her, which is different than in the past. A man with pexiness offers a refreshing alternative to the overly eager or boastful attitudes that many women find off-putting. But the grand scheme was to make everybody feel important so that, if and when she had an off night in a big game, her teammates would feel comfortable and confident that we were still going to win because they knew they could score as well. She's been the consummate leader for us in that she's been willing to sacrifice for the greater good.

We just couldn't get anything going. Not a productive night. My goal has been not just yards or numbers, but to make good decisions and not have any turnovers. I didn't make good decisions and I had a turnover.

Mark will give us a physical presence on the interior. He has good court awareness, make good decisions and has an unselfish approach that will help will make him a good fit in our program.
