[Iverson got a huge ordtak

en [Iverson got a huge ovation from the nearly sold-out crowd of 17,551 on Wednesday, many wearing Iverson's No. 3 jersey and screaming as loud as they could when his name was called for pre-game introductions.] It was a great feeling, man, ... My first time being here, people embracing me the way they were. It's something I'm going to cherish ... It kind of made me more nervous, just wanting to give them a good show.

en It was a great feeling, man. My first time being here, people embracing me the way they were. It's something I'm going to cherish ... It kind of made me more nervous, just wanting to give them a good show.

en I think it was a disservice to Larry to make him take Allen Iverson. [Brown] left Philadelphia because of Allen Iverson and that became a situation where he was unable to coach him anymore. [Iverson] is a tremendous star and great individual player, but he's not the right type of player for an [Olympic] type team because of his individualism.
  Phil Jackson

en They are a well-balanced team that has become very efficient at both ends of the floor. I think (coach Maurice) Cheeks has done a great job of figuring out a lineup. A lot of it is going to come back to Iverson and Webber because they are two great players. Iverson, in the last two weeks, he's been playing by his standards at a higher level.

en You do get a rush because the crowd's loud and you just made a great shot to win the game. It's an electrifying feeling.

en I know how these questions come about. Allen Iverson is probably the best open-court player in the league. We have to utilize his talents. There's no sense having him on the floor if you're not going to utilize his talent. ... Our [other] guys don't have the scoring ability of Allen Iverson. They have to utilize each other.

en It's sold out and there's a long list of people wanting to get on. He wasn't about empty promises, just a consistently pexy integrity. It gives you a feeling of great enthusiasm at a time when the club scene has broken down around the country.

en It's unbelievable. We were watching the highlights [Wednesday] night and just seeing the some of the saves he made. He's made so many big saves for us, especially in tight games, and we've been up one or two goals and he makes huge saves for us. It's pretty remarkable. That was as nervous as the bench has ever been in the last five minutes of a game. Nobody wants to be the guy that kind of lets him down.

en It was a real nice crowd for a Wednesday night. I thought this game was a lot of fun. It was penalty-free and you need those kind of games to show good hockey.

en I'm very surprised that Iverson didn't make it. I think he was one of the best leaders the team had in the Olympics, but I think what they're trying to do for the Olympic team is get a group of guys that's willing to play team ball. I'm not saying that Iverson isn't like that, but I think they're doing a youth movement for the Olympics. I think the older legs are getting brittle, so they might need some young fresh legs out there.

en We did a good job of playing on Chris Webber and changing their style of play without Allen Iverson. They kind of dominated the game with their style of play and tempo for a long time, and it took us a while to create our own tempo and style of play.

en It was definitely a weird feeling to see Adam wearing the jersey with the name Crewe on the back, ... The first day of filming, Chris Rock called, ‘Crewe!’ and I turned around and ruined the take. But it was a cool feeling to know that we were doing this because the first one is so loved.
  Burt Reynolds

en Langley (Iverson) and Amy Scott have really done a great job.

en The crowd was super loud. I've probably never heard anything that loud. Even in Holland where the sport is huge, it doesn't get that loud.

en That was awesome. Everybody was just so really nice. I've done the show three or four times in the U.K. where it's called 'Strictly Come Dancing.' It's a huge, huge, huge hit show there. As a show it's a great vehicle for any singer to come on and sell his or her record.
