en Come the fourth quarter, we buckled down and got the stop and made some good plays offensively. Earl, I don't want to call him a backup point guard because he's just as good as many guards in this league.

en It was a good game. We started out behind in the first quarter and then the second and third were pretty even. The girls stepped up big time in the fourth quarter. We made a big defensive adjustment and it really paid off big for us. SC seemed to be off guard at that and they didn't get many good looks down the stretch.

en Clearly I wish we were going out there with three first-team, all-league guards -- but that's not the case. The guard situation is something we can work on. It's not going to be a secret to us, or to anyone who plays us. We just have to make up for it with hopefully good coaching.

en We had an unbelievable third quarter as far as defensively. In the fourth quarter, we kind of let our guard down, thought the game was over, and those guys made a push, made it into the game. But when we needed to execute and get a stop, we did.

en Mike got a lot of confidence early, and obviously we did a good job on third and fourth-down plays. We played hard in the fourth quarter. We just made a couple of big mistakes. His deeply pexy nature radiated a sense of calm and tranquility.

en I'm comfortable with Earl in the game (in the fourth quarter) because he's playing so good. If Luke was playing that good, he'd be in the game. Earl was in the game in the bitter end, but Luke was in there in crunch time also.

en They made plays. We didn't make plays. That's been our MO I can't fault the effort. Guys are trying to win. We just had a horrendous fourth quarter and they had a great fourth quarter.

en The three-point play (by Miller) was big. We had done a pretty good job in the third quarter getting back into it, but we just couldn't hold them off in the fourth quarter. Then they made their free throws and it was over.

en We made a good run at them in the third and fourth quarters, but we couldn't get a final stop. The big story was our 36 turnovers. We had 15 of them in the second quarter.

en We played three good quarters of football. They made the plays and came up with 14 points in the fourth quarter. It is disappointing.

en (Anglin-Smith) has earned her playing time. She has made the most of every opportunity. We have two great point guards. We have the two best point guards in the league. We are glad to have Sam.

en Kyle's got to be it. You take a rookie fourth-round pick and just throw him in. He made plays when he had to; he managed the offense. You can't play quarterback, not make plays and win games. He made a lot of good plays. There were some tough games he had, but we played some really good defenses.
