en The things we've done might look frantic, but they are calculated moves. Our objective is to win a championship. Being mediocre isn't OK with me, with ownership, or with [Coach] Brian [Hill]. We're taking steps with a goal of winning a championship.

By getting the team ready to play, it is my job to keep this ship steered right, and I am going to do that in a positive way. We will continue to build a championship program here.

en The number one thing for this basketball team is that we got here. Our seniors went out with 22 wins and a sub-state berth, and I am extremely proud of them and all these girls.

en The main thing that I think is going to have to happen for the team to accomplish the goals is to just maintain a level of consistency. In golf, that's the main thing. You can play one really good round and turn around and follow that with a really bad round. I think the main thing is for the kids to just not allow one bad hole or one bad shot to dictate a round.
