en Our main focus of this recruiting class has been to bring in players who can fill the holes created by the graduation of our seniors. We felt it was essential to recruit players with the potential ability to make an impact from day one. With this class, I think we have certainly accomplished that goal. This is a very diverse and talented class.

en I'm very excited about this class. We have a lot of athletes in this class. We've got good solid kids. We needed to fill some holes particularly on the defensive side and the defensive back field.

en I am pleased to have Trevor join our Board of Directors. I have known him for ten years and have watched him progress in his career. I look forward to the insight and energy Trevor will bring to Grey Wolf.

en This class really improves our depth and I feel quite strongly that a number of them will contribute right away. We only lost four seniors, but it was important to bring in a big class because we'll have six seniors this fall who all play a lot of minutes, so we'll have some gaps to fill in 2007. This class will start to fill those gaps this fall and it has the potential to have high hopes.

en We're losing a very good senior class. Losing Matt and Zach leaves us with two huge holes to fill.

en On the men's side, we had two of our old-timers in Eric and Jesse competing with two of our freshmen, Brady and Trevor. Jesse competed unattached tonight. He's coming off a foot injury, and he's just starting to come back. Eric was just tired after football. We've been kind of slow with him coming back. But he will be there pretty quick. His mark tonight isn't much off his personal best right now. Brady and Trevor both have a couple of events they need to work on. Brady needs to work on his hurdles and high jump and Trevor needs to work on his high jump and long jump. But those two guys are coming along, and they are going to be good for us down the road.

en It's going to be impossible to replace Brandon Ward. We think Gabe (Willey) can fill in very nicely at No. 1, it just leaves us a hole somewhere in the singles lineup right now that we're trying to fill.

en We lost six starters from last year's team, so we'll definitely have some holes to fill. But, the good news is we do have a nice, small nucleus of kids coming back.

en If we wouldn't have been able to bring in the General Lee, it's probably not as good as a promotion. . . . So, once you've got that initial idea and you have some leads, then you start trying to fill out the promotion with supporting elements that will make it even better.

en I will bring new vision and ideas on ways to help the freshman class be successful and unite as a whole. I want to be class president because I am hungry - hungry in a way that RDH won't fill. I am hungry to see the class of 2009 reach its full potential as one of the largest and most ambitious classes in school history and truly make a difference in our campus community.

en When you lose four starters, there are obvious holes to fill. But I have confidence the guys coming back can do the job.

en When we were coming up, it was kind of a retooling thing and we were filling in with whatever you could fill in with. (Now) you've got a good ownership that's not only going to allow those guys to play, but they're going to bring in the pieces and make it competitive and allow them to win.

en Oh, this brings back memories. We've been coming here 40 years. Just a couple of good friends supporting our town.

en Rarely do you have everything come together, a good supporting class and that key quarterback there for three years. Anytime you break in a quarterback, no matter, how talented it's hard to go out and win every game.
