en We're beat up, me and Tony and Marquis Weeks. We take hits out there. He was just thanking us and letting everyone know how hard we work, and it felt good to hear that from the head coach.

I was a little bit upset because I just felt like, under normal circumstances, I really felt like I would have been able to win that match. But it's the past now, and Kim's playing really well. Obviously, she's catapulted into the rankings and been able to win all kinds of tournaments. But I feel fine.

en For the first time I felt like they used to feel when they played with me - Mark hits it so hard and far, I felt totally inadequate.

en This is the best I've felt in terms of hitting the ball hard. Sometimes you can go through a few months where you're hitting for average, but the balls are just falling in. I feel I'm hitting it hard. Most of it was just correcting some flaws in my swing.
