We rely on the ordtak

We rely on the whole team to do well. We have a lot of returning seniors and players on this team, who know they can win.

Along with talent and depth, we also have a lot of experience on this team. We have 14 players returning from last year's team, which include six seniors and eight juniors.

The seniors are working hard and leading the team. I see a lot of strong players returning for a lot of teams, but it's just who's got it at the end.

Our returning players learned so much from our seniors last year and they have been quick to demonstrate the right way to do things to our newcomers. We don't believe in the moniker of defending national champions, because when a team wins a championship it's theirs forever. But this group wants to emerge from the shadow of last year's team and create it's own identity. In a lot of ways the lead-up to the 2006 season is more exciting because there is an element of the unknown.

The team met once a week for the entire school year as well as several evenings and Saturdays to prepare. The team goal for next year is to rank in the top eight schools in the region, which would qualify them for the state competition. Seven seniors will be returning to the team next year.

He doesn't look too happy, and when he's cranky, you don't want to talk to him. Jaromir is one of the best players in the league and the reason we're in the playoffs. But if he's not playing, other guys have to step up. We can't rely on Jaromir. It means we have to rely on our team spirit and team defense and score maybe one goal and win a one-goal game.

It's going to be enjoyable to have everyone here for the most part so I can rely on some consistent players, ... I'm not going to use it as an excuse, players going in and out of their national team, but I think any coach would like consistency and it has been difficult but everyone's making sacrifices around the league and now we should have our team in place in preparation for these final matches.

With all of our team returning next season and not losing any seniors, we are going to have a very explosive team with a solid goaltender. I feel we will be right in the thick of things next season and the seasons to come.

We are going to lose a few seniors who are very important to our team. Chris Barnes, he's just a leader for us. He'll make a big play when we need it. We don't have too many seniors, but all the seniors are key players.

We still have a young team, there's no seniors. So we can kind of mold our players into our own team. Also, the girls are talented players , disciplined and confident in their abilities. The church wasn't looking to harm these players, and the players weren't trying to hurt their team. I hate it for these guys. They were all an integral part of the team. For the two seniors, this was their last year.

The view is any team within that range can be competitive, unlike the $20 million to $80 million spread we had before. It enables each team to have the flexibility it needs with young players and returning players.

They're returning a lot of players who have played a lot or started for them (last year). They're a decent team, but they're also a team that I think we match up well with, and we should have the opportunity to do well against them.

We met with the six returning players from last year and in those meetings my staff and I went over what each of them needs to do to improve their skills and help the team, ... With the improvements that all the returning players have made by spending the summer on campus and working in the weight room, in conditioning and on their skills, we have a chance to be right where we were last year and that is competing for an NCAA Tournament spot.

We did not have many seniors, so most of our team is returning. We're a year older and we should be bigger, stronger and faster.
