This is the third ordtak

This is the third Super Bowl in six years for my family, and we have not won one yet. We have just been trying to get that ring, and hopefully we can do it this year.

The Super Bowl tickets, that's the worst headache. I'm glad they gave us the week off. You really need a couple of days. They say you lose family members over the Super Bowl and I can see why because everybody in the family didn't get tickets. They're mad at me now. That's when I realized we were going to the Super Bowl.

Over the past few years, this team has done some tremendous things, and hopefully I can be the piece of that puzzle to move them a little further. I missed out on a Super Bowl ring last year, and I'm very excited about being here, because I think the possibility of obtaining one here is beyond our wildest dreams.

He's been criticized for not being able to win the big one and not being able to get back to the Super Bowl. That was a thought for us, too. We wanted to come out and play for him. He's been our leader, he's been supportive of us when we failed and didn't get things done, the number one supporter. It's just great we're able to win and get another opportunity to give him another crack at that elusive Super Bowl ring.

It would be awfully easy for me to take this for granted. Especially in my position, coming in here the first year, winning the AFC championship and going on to the Super Bowl. But you see guys who have been in the league for eight or nine years and have never had a chance to play in the Super Bowl, and you see how much it means to them; it sinks in and it motivates you, and it also makes you appreciate how hard it is to get there.

That was two years ago. It's a whole new year. I'm pretty sure he's watched that and studied up. I can't count on what happened in the Super Bowl. It went pretty good in the Super Bowl but it's a whole new year.

When people talk about Super Bowl dynasties they mention the 1970's Steelers, 1980's 49ers, 1990's Cowboys and the current New England Patriots, but nobody has dominated the Super Bowl like Anheuser-Busch. In recent years, Budweiser has been the MVP of Super Bowl advertising -- making another company the favorite to win the Ad Meter poll was never an option.

We all have the Super Bowl ring on our finger -- all four teams. It's just a matter of who's going to let someone else take it off. At the end of the day, there's going to be one team out of the four that keeps that ring.

We're going in the right direction, but I'm not satisfied until I get a ring. I don't care how far you get in the playoffs, nobody remembers you until you win the Super Bowl. Obviously, this is good up until this point, but I want things to be a lot better. I want that ring.

I don't know, 33, he may have had a lot of hard miles on him. Sometimes these coaching years are like dog years. It's all relative. I think the experiences through the course of that.
