It feels good to be back. I got tired of sitting in that training room all day, every day, while all the guys were out practicing.

The guys in this locker room have done a great job of making us feel like part of the team. This really is a close room. I know people get tired of hearing that, but it's true. Nobody feels beneath anybody -- like their importance is any less.

It feels good. It feels real good. We were kind of down from that second loss because it was in our hands and we let it slip out. We were all feeling bad but we came back and we worked at it. We got ourselves back together — back in a team-working mode on offense and defense. It just feels good to beat those guys.

I wouldn't want to sit in the training room all day and make those guys work when they've got 50 guys in there. If I can go out there and play with a little bit of pain, I can stay out of the training room.

We had opportunities to stand up and make plays and we just didn't do it. I'm tired of it. I know the coaches are tired of it, and I know a lot of guys in that locker room are tired of it.

That stretch of time has gone by fast. You get back in the room and it feels like you haven't missed a beat. To be back among the guys is a lot of fun.

Yeah both of them. I mean I saw them live too, we were sitting watching the game , we were sitting in the training room, unbelievable. You know it shows us how far the women's game has come.

A lot of us are mentally tired 'cause it's been such a long road. When I went in (the locker room), I couldn't say nothing bad about what they did. I said, 'Hold you heads up, guys. Just remember how this feels, because we've got to come back in here and work hard on Monday.

I did a couple of interviews with you guys right after and I still didn't know. On the way to the training room, they pulled me into the coaches' room and let me know.

I definitely got tired out there, so it was good in a way I got out there and threw some pitches and tired. My arm feels great.

We were two, tired old men walking out there, holding each other up, letting the kids celebrate. I went to the training room and passed out.
