en We were the top-ranked team; it's nice to win the tournament. It's exciting to finish the regular season with a win.

en It's healthy for our kids to look at this as we're the No. 1-ranked conference in America, and we've been able to finish .500 with us and Michigan State, both finishing 8-8 in our league and splitting with one another throughout the regular season. Obviously (the Spartans) are going to be a team (in the NCAA). No one is talking about them not being in. en We had some tough stretches in the middle of our season, but I'm proud of our improvement. We won some exciting games at the end of the regular season to build momentum for the tournament.

en I think it's real important because we haven't had a year in our career where we've won both (the regular-season title and the Big East tournament). We've always won one or the other. So I think that's something that we've talked about also as being part of being apart of our legacy to be able to say that we won both regular season and tournament championships.

en I've said that if you started this tournament again tomorrow you would get four different teams in the Final Four. The NCAA Tournament is a totally different entity from the regular season. It's got nothing to do with the regular season. Once you get in, anything can happen.

en Our guys are going to be exciting to watch. We want to win the regular-season MAC title so we can host the MAC Tournament.

en Our first priority is to go out and win here. We want to finish up the regular season on a good note, get that second seed and get ready for the tournament.

en Each tournament we played in this spring was an improvement from the previous one. So we know we're on track to finish out the regular season strong.

en We have 14 games remaining in the regular season, so we have to finish up strong. We need to build up some momentum and carry it into the regional tournament.

en I lost two big games in the regular season, but that was regular season. This is the tournament, and the whole world remembers what you do in the tournament.

en I think that makes all the sense in the world. Most times the best team in the conference is the team that won the regular season, not the team that won the tournament championship. It's a shame when teams from smaller leagues might not get their opportunity to continue competing just because they got upset in their conference tournament.

en We obviously want to be Big Ten champs, and we want to go into the (NCAA) Tournament with the highest seed. We want to be the best team we can possibly be, and make a run at it in the tournament. I think we can do that, but we've got to put it together in (regular-season) games, especially on the road.

en Winning the regular season as a team means more to me than being named second team all-conference. We're a tight knit bunch of guys. Hopefully we get to wear the tournament ring this season as well.

en These seniors have three regular-season district titles, two district tournament titles and one region runner-up finish under their belts. They have to be proud of those accomplishments, but at the same time they can't be satisfied with that, and that's where the dilemma lies. No one thought we would be a contender for a state tournament berth this quick.

en This was an excellent way for us to finish our season. Marquette is tougher than their record might indicate, so to be able to close out tight matches against a team like that is a strong way to conclude the regular season.
