en A lot of my inspiration came from the kids. But then other things; like the news, everything is pretty inspiring these days.

en I learned from working around the working man, ... I worked around people who had a hard time. A whole lot of my inspiration just came off of growing up around a small town and the things we did. I used to talk a lot with my grandparents about those things. I read lots of books. Every little thing came across as inspiring.

en It was a pretty inspiring evening for the kids.

en There were some pretty inspiring plays tonight. The play by Matt was an example of doing the little things.

en I'm not saying Meredith doesn't cry some days. But the fact is, we're just two people trying to raise three kids; we have a normal household, with all the good things and bad things that everyone else has. We do homework with the kids; we yell at the kids; we punish them; we go to movies with them.... Yes, there are some tough issues, but we go forward and we don't dwell.

en That sequence (with the three consecutive blocked shots), even though they ended up scoring, and Yao coming to help on Andre Miller ? those things are inspiring. And you can tell by the reaction of everybody, the team, the paying customers, that stuff is inspiring.

en Some days I'm going to struggle, ... Some days I'm going to miss things I should have seen. But with age and growing in the league, I'm pretty sure I can get to where I want to be. What I have to do is not lose focus and not forget about the things that got me here. If I do that, then I think there's no stopping me.

en Jerome Bettis is an inspiration. He's been an inspiration throughout the playoffs. But it comes down to going out Sunday and doing the things we've been doing.

en It's good and it's bad and it's kind of all of the above. It's rough being on the road and not making a lot of money and sleeping in a van. But it's also pretty inspiring to travel around and meet new people and see new things and visit old friends.

en I don't know if I can put a percentage on it. It's tough to say. Some days are a little better than other days. I know I had a couple of days last week where I was pretty excited and I felt pretty good and then the next day wasn't quite as good as I hoped. I think I've been pretty happy with the progress that we've made so far. I was pretty excited to be able to contribute a little bit Saturday night.

en Oh, man, I'm looking forward to those things. I'm looking forward to days where I can do things that I've been wanting to do that happen in the summertime. Be with my family and kids in the summer. Vacations. All that stuff, before my kids go off to college.

en The telegram was huge [for the media industry]. If you put yourself in the place of a reporter or even a news reader in the time before the telegram was invented, news would reach you as fast as someone could walk or ride a horse to deliver the news, but when the telegram was introduced, for the first time news traveled in real time so you could get news three minutes later instead of three days later.
