en We're definitely positive. To win a few games obviously would be nice. We'd like to win the series, but being realistic, they're the No. 1 seed. We're just going to try to take a game or two, and on any day, you never know what can happen.

en That's exactly what we expected. We expected close games this weekend. The No. 1 seed all the way down to the No. 7 seed played tight games this season. We tied them (R.C. Central) 2-2 earlier this season. Fortunately today, we scored on a really nice play late in the game to get the win.

en It's the game of football and key is to win games and we won the game. Teams are going to struggle with teams, that's just going to happen. It's kind of like you have to blow everybody out and that's not realistic.

en We want a good seed. We're not content being the eighth seed. We want to be sixth seed or the fifth seed. So we have to win a host of games over the next 23. We're being challenged and I hope and I expect that we will respond.

en You don't know what could happen with other games in the district. But I think if we win all of our remaining home games, it will give us a realistic opportunity.

en We're a little disappointed about the seed. We didn't think we deserved a No. 5 seed. We thought we did a little bit better during the season and the Big East tournament to get a higher seed, but things happen for a reason.

en Today is over. We won a game and yeah it was nice, but this game is about winning series and going from there. We look at it as a chance to win a series tomorrow.

en If we go in as the No. 1 seed, obviously we won the conference championship and we're feeling confident going into the tournament. Even if we go in as the No. 2 seed, we're fine with that. We're comfortable with that spot. One seed or two seed doesn't make a difference to us. We just need to go out and play our game.

en I do think that with only one game a year we need to be very realistic how frequently the game is going to be back in cities that have already had it. The point is, we can play Super Bowls all over America, but unless you are naive as to how the weather is in this country, it does still get cold in the winter. We have to be realistic. We're not going to play the game all over the country. We will concentrate on northern cities with domes and there will continue to be a heavy array of games in the southern climates.

en These games can make or break us. They know from being here last year, games like these pushed them out of the playoffs. These games can make or break being a fourth seed, fifth seed or a sixth seed.

en It definitely helped in that one game, but it doesn't spark my memory that it carried us through the rest of the series. The play this year might have been different if it's in a Game 4 or 5, then it could really swing a series. But it's not an issue this early, when they've only played two games.

en We talked after losing the first game that positive people make positive things happen. We forgot about what happened in that first game and the kids battled in the second game. We told the guys to just swing the bats and be aggressive and they came through.

en I never thought it was going to happen. It was a dream come true to play that first game, and to last 1,000 games is something I will definitely cherish. It's a nice achievement. en We've gone in as a No. 3 and a No. 4 since I started coaching here. It's nice to be the higher seed, but I think that's a bit neutralized because we're in the 5A tourney. I think a 5A No. 4 seed might be like a 4A No. 2 seed. We'll be playing deeper teams, bigger teams.

en If you win games, it sounds like you have a better chance of getting into the tournament and getting a higher seed. And if you lose games, chances are you may not get in or get a bad seed.
