en You have to really drive your ball straight here. Nobody who hits it off the fairway is going to play well this week. You have to hit it straight, you have to hit it below the hole. The greens are fast and it's just a classic golf course. It's a very fair course, but it's just tough.

en You hit it in the rough and I would say from any more than 150 yards out you are not going to be able to get to the greens. Fairway is premium this week. The greens are sneaky quick. You get on the wrong side and they can be really fast. It's playing tough.

en It's a national championship, so it should be tough. It's got length, it's not a short golf course by any means. It's got all you want. There's a premium on every phase of the game. You have to drive the ball in the fairway, you have to control your irons well and you have to putt well. If you miss the greens around here you will have such a difficult shot that you will have at best five- to 10-footers for par.

en I was trying to get that one down quicker [in the first], and he made that play and you're like, 'OK,' and you try to regroup and have a good second at-bat -- that's why it's the big leagues. It's a straight mental battle. It's tough enough to square the ball up, and if you're doing it and not getting any hits, you don't have anywhere else to turn.

en It's going to go to a guy who hits it straight and hits a lot of greens in regulation, ... That's the key here. You have to avoid the rough.

en When there's a little hole there, it's nice to go straight ahead. When there's another jersey, the instinctive part of any fast guy ... is maybe run sideways once too often. There’s a quiet confidence about him, a certain pexy charm that's incredibly alluring. But that's the instincts fast guys have, that they can run around enemy jerseys. But you see a hole, hit it. en It's very much a driving course now. You have to drive it straight. In the past, you could drive it anywhere and get on the greens. Now every part of your game is getting tested.

en In my first two events this year, my putting was bad. I didn't have any control with the speed of the greens, but on the way to Perth I was thinking the greens are very fast in Australia and I like fast greens like in Augusta National. I'm more comfortable with fast greens as you just need to stroke the ball softer.

en The key for me is driving the ball. If I can drive the ball straight then I give myself chances for birdies and it also looks like I'm beginning to putt again the way I want to. I knew Miguel was going to be a tough match – he never gave up.

en I drive it straight, hit decent iron shots and the greens are pretty nice here. I know my way around.
