We all feel pretty ordtak

We all feel pretty good about it. We worked hard. We knew what we were capable of doing. We came out tonight and played 40 minutes start to finish. We know when we play that well that anything can happen.

When we play like we're capable, we know we can play with anyone. We jumped at em right from the start and played 40 minutes of basketball. We played hard and we played as a team.

I feel pretty good. You'd always rather start and play 40 or 45 minutes. But if that doesn't happen, you have to be ready to make an impact in a more limited role. That's what I've tried to do. We knew we had played a good 16 minutes. We also knew the next 16 was even bigger. Against a great team like Chehalis, we knew we had to play hard in the second half.

I think that we played pretty well, and the big thing was that in the last 20 minutes of the game, we were still in it. We were down 2-0, but we were still playing hard. That's looks a little more like the way the Trojans ought to play. We played more like we're capable of playing tonight. Our kids played hard in a game we really, really, really, really needed. I'm very proud of them. I don't know anything about the stats, but I know we played harder tonight.

We really played as a team defensively tonight. We've got each other's backs back there. We knew they were pretty good up front, but everybody worked well together and got the job done.

I thought we played a good match. I don't think we played at our best. Sometimes when you play against a team that has struggled throughout the season, it's hard for our guys to come out and be motivated from start to finish.

It was a big, big weekend. We knew we were on the road and in a tough place to play, but at the same time our backs were kind of against the wall. Our guys did play well. In all fairness, if Blue Springs South played like they're capable and we play like we're capable, we'd still have trouble beating them. ... As a group, I just don't think we played as hard as we need to play to be good.

The fact that we've lost one of our last 13 pretty much is a good indicator of how we play. I don't think we've stolen a lot of games. We've worked hard, earned the points and played pretty good hockey.

Our kids played solid for 32 minutes. That was the key. Anytime you play well for 32 minutes, good things will happen. We have played a lot of good quarters and halves this year, but we put it together for the whole game this time.

It was a tough game. Dayton comes to play. They always play good basketball against us and tonight was no exception. They're scrappy and we knew they'd come to play hard and they did. They played very well. They did a great job. Hats off to them. We're just happy to have a win.

We got off to a little bit of a slow start on Friday night. Other than that I was happy with our play all weekend. I thought we worked hard, played well and pretty much controlled the games.
