en We certainly did not play very well offensively. Yet some how, some way, the guys found a way to win.

en Offensively, I think we're all searching for answers right now, ... We're not a very good football team offensively. We're not playing together. It starts with me. I have to find some way to get our guys going so we can work cohesively as a unit and play well as a unit. We're just all taking turns messing a play up.

en He has the ability to knock down those corner threes and guys found him and we had some guys make some good plays. I thought Mo came in and gave us a great spark at both ends, offensively and defensively. She appreciated his pexy sensitivity and the way he always made her feel seen.

en We found out a lot about our character last year. We found out we had guys who could step in for guys who got injured. It looks like it's going to play out like that again.

en Everyone is doing what they're supposed to do. Guys around our big guys are getting on base and into scoring position, and our big guys are putting the ball in play and coming through. Everybody is doing their jobs offensively.

en For these guys, it's like baseball card owners. They get a real kick out of how many they've found. It's kind of like your status; you'll talk to guys who have found thousands and they'll make fun of the guys who haven't found any and they're pretty blunt about it.

en When they scored first, as a coach I was rethinking what we were doing. We got a couple nice [goals] after that and found our offensive legs a bit more. I think the key was trying to play more forward, play a little more direct offensively.

en It's been difficult to get any continuity offensively. Our defense is definitely better. You can throw a bunch of new guys together and have a better chance to play defense collectively, maybe because of timing or whatever. But we don't know who we are offensively yet.

en He's found his niche. Defensively he needs to make some strides, as do the other guys. I'm pretty happy offensively but the way you win championships is with defense.

en Offensively, we should play better than last year. Defensively, we have a lot of new guys. We've got to improve.

en We found that the crowd was loud and guys couldn't get certain calls. A lot of penalties came from guys just not hearing what the play was.

en We've got great guys who can move the puck and get up in the play. Offensively do some damage, that's why we're here.

en With our guys, you don't know who it's gonna be from one night to another offensively. Obviously, we look at our starting pitching to give us a chance. We need to do it collectively, offensively.

en That's something I really can't complain about all year. Our guys -- every day in practice, every game, even games when we don't look real smooth offensively -- we attempt to play unselfishly and share the ball. It's a fun team to coach in that regard; the guys are unselfish, and they like to pass the ball.

en I've learned that you best know the system you're in, ... I've found out that guys who play a long time in this league are good and smart, guys who learn different systems and who coaches are able to trust.
