The intensity was really high. I think Sean (XU coach Miller) has a tremendous team, without question an NCAA Tournament team. We had our chances in regulation and in overtime and just did not make enough plays.

Every team's goal is to make the NCAA Tournament. I don't think we're dwelling on it. Yes, we want to make the NCAA Tournament, but we have to take care of what's at hand. We can't let the NCAA Tournament get in the way and be too excited. It's fun when you're in a good position to be right there. That's why we play.

We knew we were playing a tournament team. Coach was saying, 'That's a Sweet 16 team you just beat.' He kept saying that. I never imagined we would see them in the NCAA tournament, and we would be in the same bracket.

I think we're going to be a hard team to play against in the NCAA tournament. We play good defense. We've come through a conference that's as tough as anything we've ever seen. They're well-organized and well-coached. They're a very dangerous team. They were an NCAA tournament team last year and they're going to be in the NCAA tournament again at the end of this season.

In overtime, ... I remember our receivers coach [Stan Hixon] said to me, 'Let's go. We're going to give you the chance [to win the game].' I'm just glad to be a part of this team and have an opportunity to make those plays.

That's usually the way overtime goes. The first team to score has an advantage. We were happy with holding them to less than 50 points in regulation and overtime.

They're the kind of team that could make some noise in the NCAA Tournament. We were playing for a (league) championship today, but they were playing for the (NCAA) tournament.
