The thing that I have is flexibility. Both my starting guards can also play tackle. My backup center can play both guard and center, so I have a little flexibility there with some guys that have a little more experience, not that they are the most experienced guys. But I am comfortable with that.

Reggie has shown he can play tackle, guard and center. I think if it (unrestricted free agency) goes the way we want it to go, then I think that's the way we would go play the season, with him at left guard.

I'm really comfortable at either position. The guard and the center communicate every play. They basically have the same blocking schemes. Regardless of which one I play, I feel comfortable and ready to play.

Will Montgomery

He is a proven playmaker who has the ability to play at both ends of the ice. This acquisition gives us flexibility in our lineup as he can play center or on the wing, as well as on our special teams.

It's tough to go to center [field]. We didn't have many guys go to center. We had some guys go down the lines, take it to the alleys, but for the most part it's a big ballpark and you have to play accordingly.

You prefer to have five guys there and they play where they play, but we're not in that position. I think McGrath has certainly done a good job when he's been in there. I feel good about that.

[St. Clair comes in as the swing tackle and has also played guard.] We want guys who can come in here and play dual positions and have game experience under their belt, ... You can't minimize that.

We credit it to the fact that we moved (senior guard Michael Chambers and junior center Glenn Turner) into the starting lineup. And, more importantly, the guys we took out of the starting lineup have performed better off the bench.

The center that we re-routed to at Pearl Harbor is a center that serves base housing, and it is something that we can turn to as a backup to the backup.
