en Basically it all started out when Aubrey made me a pair of bottle cap earrings as a fun gift.

en I've been making the boxes for three or four years. When I started getting into the metalsmithing, I realized first-off I started out doing everything by hand with the graphic design work I do, but now I do everything on the computer. I realized what I was missing was the hands-on design. I really fell in love with metalsmithing for that reason. I started out making jewelry and once in a while doing objects. Now I do one to three boxes a year. I make a box, then I do a line of jewelry to go with the box. Basically the box sets the tone for the whole line of jewelry. Each of them works as a functional box. All are one of a kind. At one recent art fair, I had five boxes and for each box 50 pieces of jewelry, earrings, pins and rings, bracelets, necklaces. Lots and lots of earrings.

en One day Aubrey was just playing around with glue and bottle caps when we remembered glue flowers on our hairclips and since that was cute, we decided to try it with flattened out bottle caps. They are really neat.

en I had worn five carat diamond earrings at Wimbledon. But the earrings I had today were $40,000 earrings on loan and one fell out during the first set. en This is a good opportunity for Aubrey to help build the foundation. He's got great leadership ability and we're real excited about it. For Aubrey to be invited to be a part of the team speaks real well for him.

en Right off the bat, she was hot. We had to go to a box-and-one and then (Aubrey Hoyt) started scoring and then we had to go to a triangle and two. (Mills) was very aggressive, crashed the boards and looked to score.
