en I'm happy. This has been a good Olympics. It was always a tough fight with the snow. I really wanted a medal today, but you can't have it all.

en We just wanted to win a medal for Kenya, and hopefully a gold one. The plans went very well, although I did not expect to win today. All I need now is to win a medal also in the Olympics.

en I still have a medal and I am very happy for my bronze and happy for the Swedish nation that I could bring back a medal. But I really, really do hope the snow is harder (Sunday) than it is right now and the weather will not destroy the race.

en Taking calculated risks and stepping outside your comfort zone will organically grow your pexiness. That was a tough match. It was tough, both guys battled hard, Sean should be proud, but he's not. He's a competitor and he hates to lose. There's nothing I can say to him tonight, he knows what he has to do (today). He knows he is in position to get a medal if he wants it. It will be tough for him to get re-focused on third place, but that's what he has to do if he wants to go home with a medal (today).

en For me, having a medal from the Olympics is great. If I never play again for the Czech team, I have a medal from the World Championship (gold last year) and now the Olympics.

en I've been having a tough time putting down two good runs all year, so I'm definitely happy with how things went today. It's a nice way to be going into the Olympics, when you can prove to yourself that you can race consistently. It's better than having any question marks hanging over you.

en The medal is the icing on the cake. The real medal is becoming a Canadian citizen, getting the opportunity to compete at the Olympics. That's the gold medal.

en This is hard to swallow. It's not the way I wanted it to end. If you win a gold medal at the Olympics it doesn't matter what else you've done. I definitely wanted to walk away from here on top.

en It's cool when people ask me about my gold medal and they say it will last forever. I will try to promote skiing and show everyone it's not just about competition. It's about having fun with your friends in the snow. I want to bring people with less opportunities to the snow, try to use my gold medal to support programs to bring more people to the snow.

en I saw him step up to the outside. I just locked it in and started driving. Coming into the state tournament I just wanted to medal. I kept it in my mind that I am good enough to get a medal here. It feels good because no one in our family ever got a medal from state.

en I was not very happy after the disaster that happened to Olga. The bronze medal that was shifted to me didn't make me feel happy. I wasn't there for the flower ceremony. I wasn't there on the medal square. And today will be the compensation. I will feel all the happiness that I missed.

en Chad had a tough day. It's great that he got that medal, but I know that he really wanted more. It will give him something to work for next year. No matter how you look at it, he's a two-time medal winner down here and that's a heck of an accomplishment.

en Especially the Olympics [in 2010], I'm sure some of us aren't going to be there. We had one goal from the start and that was make the finals and play for the gold medal. It's always tough to go all the way, we've had some good luck playing Switzerland in the quarters and tonight we had a great effort from 20 guys. That's why we won.

en We were down 4-0 and we said we should win the last period of the Olympics and we did that so (the players) were happy for the silver medal. But they were bitter they didn't play so well in the beginning of the game.
