en It's something we still talk about, but it's not the same dark cloud that it was a year ago. I think it's helped that her class has graduated and we have a half-new team. This group of girls are ready now to make their own mark.

en We've graduated the bulk of the players who helped capture the conference championship two years ago. We had a strong class last year and we are complimenting it with another one this season.

en We graduated a strong group of players this year. But I feel this incoming class has the quality to fill their shoes.

en We had a big freshman class come out for the team, and I'm hoping to get one or two of them running varsity. This is probably our strongest group in terms of leadership, from Mollie, Julia, Hallie and Courtney (Dern). Our goal is to get some of the girls down to the 20 minute range. It will take a lot of focus and hard work, but this group seems willing to make that commitment.

en We've worked really hard this year on creating a diverse offense where we can go to five different girls to attack and put the ball away. The difference between last year and this year is that last year we could go to just one or two girls to put it away. Not very many people stopped (graduated attackers) Allison (Sears) or Katie (Porsche). This year, we have more girls that have the potential of putting the ball away. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence. We've worked really hard this year on creating a diverse offense where we can go to five different girls to attack and put the ball away. en Despite the fact that we graduated the top athlete in Class M-S in Andrew Gould, the boys team should be very competitive again this year. In fact, we have the potential to improve upon last year?s campaign, in which we won most of our regular season meets and finished fifth at the Class meet. The 2006 squad should be well represented in almost every event.

en In the second half, we made the plays we had to make. That's been the mark of this team all year.

en Remember, half the doctors in this country graduated in the bottom half of their class.

en As a whole team, it's by far the hardest [working team I've had]. I've had individuals, a group of three or four [in the past]. This year, I haven't had less than 12 girls in the weight room every day. Even over Christmas break, the worst turnout I had was 10 girls. There's only 18 on the team.

en We are very pleased and excited about this year's recruiting class. Each player in this class has the ability to come in and make a difference. This group is very talented and will help make us a better program.

en The whole atmosphere of the team, the girls are the best group of girls you can imagine. The fans, the beaches, it's just the whole package. [Going out with a win] means a lot. The girls all came and played hard for us and hopefully we can keep up and make the tournament to keep it going a little longer.

en We're ready to make a run. That's been the girls' goal from the beginning of the year. They feel like they've got some unfinished business from what happened last year. But understand, when you start on that tournament trail, it's one game at a time, and the team you have to beat that night is THE team. You can't look too far ahead.

en It's that dark cloud, the glass half empty on everything you do. It just becomes too much for me. So I unplugged myself.

en There's a dark cloud hanging over Niagara Falls. Everywhere I go, people are stopping me to talk about the investigation.

en The girls all said they had fun and want to return for this event next year. What is most gratifying and humbling is that I graduated all these girls.
