The program definitely seems a lot stronger this year. Some people are stressed about it because of school reasons. Some people are real excited to face more teams. I think it's a good thing.

We are really excited about our new Community Commitment Program. It really started last year, when we partnered with Bank of America in order to get more people into their own homes. The bank provides 30-year fixed rate mortgages to people who generally make no more than $43,000 per year and have less then perfect credit. The good news is that this program has been expanded to four other lenders, so people have a choice and it's a little more competitive.

I am very excited. I had a big old smile on my face and was very impressed. I think there is a real big buzz about the program now. We are catching people's eye.

That was a very good game, ... We were a little concerned coming in because we were a little banged up. But the kids responded to the challenge. We had a lot of good senior leadership. One thing we stressed was when you face adversity, you need people to step up.

I can't say when that will occur or I can't say how that will occur but I just think that the league is too good. ... It's a stronger conference this year, especially in the middle portion of it.

We are excited about this program believe that it is going to be an every year thing, ... We are hoping that we can get our pee-wee program's numbers up. You never stop teaching fundamentals, but the earlier you can start the better your program will be. We are excited about what these kids have done so far and the progress that they have made. The reasons why the fans aren't out here are the type of season we've had, the time of year it is, not in the race, knocking on 100 losses. I think that's why people are not going to make the sacrifice to stay up late on a school night cause it is not real meaningful.

The people out there are so passionate about the basketball program and the recruits it's getting. They're real excited about the program.

Without a doubt, we're excited. We're excited about the new school and the community is behind us. The Village Golf Club is great to have us here. We're looking for good things. Sports are important for kids. We have some good young talent. One nice thing is we all will be together next year. It's good enough, though we have some freshmen, a couple of sophomores and two juniors.

It's a big game for the school. It'll get a lot of recruits in. It kind of lets people know that we're trying to be one of the elite teams in the country, just like Virginia Tech is. I think this program can go all the way to the top. We're getting a lot of good players in and great coaches. I don't think we're too far off.

We thought we could do it in a couple of years, but it finally happened and it's real exciting for the kids, for the community, for the school, for our program. Our whole motto this year is 'Nothing but greatness.' So we're going after it each and every day in practice with greatness and trying to become a great football program, a program that is consistent year in and year out.

Finally, we had some people step up and go forward. We need this. Everyone else has a feeder program to their high school, and we didn't. Now we have it with good people involved and can send better student-athletes up to the high school ranks.

We are looking for ways to promote early childhood education to people face to face, ... Many of the people we interviewed say they would like help but do not respond well to toll-free hotlines. We want to look for ways to get out there and work with people in person. This should be an interactive program.
