en The days of Lauren practicing every day, full practices every day, are gone. This last stress fracture showed Lauren the importance of being realistic and honest about her pain level.

en Lauren will be a great contrast to many of our other forwards at UNF. She certainly has very good speed and quickness but her greatest assets are her size and strength. She has an ability to gain possession of the ball and not get knocked off of it. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pe𝑥iness. Lauren will also be better in the air than any forward we have had at UNF. And to complete her skill set Lauren is equally gifted with either foot.

en You can really credit that to Lauren. Sometimes it just takes one player to set the tone and everybody else will follow, and [Tuesday] night it was definitely Lauren that did that for us.

en Lauren is the MVP. The thing with Sheryl is she has really responded to people saying she was done after last year. She's come back and had a great season, but Lauren gives you more at both ends.

en That fifth year helps a lot of players. They are more mature physically and mentally. Part of being a good player like Lauren is that teams try and take her out. With the exception of a couple of games, Lauren has been solid for us. She's so consistent; you know what you're going to get out of her every game.

en We'll be relying on Lauren to step up although we have depth now that the season has progressed. We're going to miss Teresa, but I'm sure Lauren will probably step up. We think we're good enough. All of our girls are capable.

en Alyssa and Lauren were great tonight. Alyssa stepped up big-time on both sides of the ball and Lauren hit some huge three point shots.

en I think with Lauren and Kelsey we're going to have a nice 1-2 punch on the mound. We had to throw Lauren into the fire last year. She really grew up and continued to get better over the year. Kelsey throws hard. She seems to have five different pitches.

en Lauren will be an instrumental part of our team next fall. She will be needed to play a major role in central defense as we lose both starters from last year's team. Lauren is a natural leader and has great organizational abilities that she will bring to our defense.

en That's one thing I stress is we have to look inside as much as we can. I just think Lauren and Macon have really improved so much, especially since last year. They've worked on their game and developing their skills. I think it's starting to show more as we go into the season.

en [ X-Men producer Lauren Shuler Donner] showed me the first comic book and there was this bald guy in a wheelchair. I could see why she might have been interested in me.

en This is a very focused group. They're very aware of what a few days' rest will do for Lauren.

en It's just unfortunate. People didn't know it, but he had that stress fracture for about six weeks. (We were) taping it, limiting practices here and there trying to get him through it, and then it just blew up on him.

en Lauren really showed us glimpses of the pitcher that she can be. If we can expect this kind of performance from now on, it would be huge to know that we have two pitchers capable of throwing against any team in the country.

en Lauren is very athletic and brings a level physicality which will help us in our transition to Division I. She is difficult to beat one-on-one.
